Deluxe Wool Washing Kit, Wool Wash Kit, Sweater and Yarn Wash, Yarn Soap
This awesome kit has everything you need to start washing your raw wool and fiber so that you can get it squeaky clean and ready for dyeing, spinning, carding or processing! It includes our own Fiberculture® Sheepy Clean Wool Wash & Conditioner detergent, a sturdy mesh laundry bag, and a double-rack hanging mesh wool dryer.
Place your yarn or fiber in the mesh bag, close it and submerge into hot water with Sheepy Clean Wool Wash & Conditioner. Follow the directions on the Sheepy Clean Wool Wash bottle for best cleaning results. After soaking, pull the mesh bag out of the water carefully, allow water to drain off, or spin dry the whole bag, or gently squeeze excess water out. Then, pull out your fiber out of the mesh bag, and lay it out on top of the hanging dryer. The mesh wall and floor of the dryer allow air to circulate all around the fiber. Place hanging dryer in a dry, well ventilated area, or outside in a gentle breeze for the quickest drying. This kit is also perfect for washing and drying delicate knit, woolen, or woven items such as sweaters, scarves, hats, socks, shawls, etc. The hanging mesh dryer folds compact for easy storage and travel. Our all natural Sheepy Clean Wool Wash & Conditioner is gentle enough for natural fibers and handknit items, yet strong enough to remove most grease, dirt, and stains from your raw fleece and fibers.
