Botanical natural dyes have been sustainably used to color textiles for eons. This 20-card deck was created as a simple resource for the budding natural dyer looking to explore traditional wild sources of natural dye.

The collection contains 16 natural dye plant profile reference cards, and bonus natural dye instructional technique cards, printed on high quality large Tarot sized cards. Plant profile cards are detailed with each natural dye plant’s identifying image and description, brief historical significance, and possible color and shade extract examples. The plant varieties included are commonly found in most environmental zones around the world, but mostly in North America. Pick up this deck and prepare to enhance your natural dye journey!

This deck makes a wonderful accessory for enhancing any natural dyer’s tool kit, and would also make a great gift for foragers and other outdoor and nature enthusiasts. They also make a perfect companion to our Beginner Natural Dye Kits!

Card deck has been custom designed and independently published by the professional textile artist and owner of Fiberculture, Serena Gomez. Specially printed and packed using recycled materials.

The deck box measures approximately 5” x 3” x .5”.

The full deck contains 20 cards, full color printed on both sides. Cards measure 2.75” x 4.75”, typical Tarot size.
