This is 100% locally grown blend of super soft Suri alpaca roving. This roving is so soft and luxurious, but after processing ended up having a higher than usual amount of VM (vegetable matter) still throughout, so this is a discounted price! Suri alpaca fiber is rarer than average alpaca fibers, as it grows in long, silky locks on the alpaca, and was traditionally reserved for royalty to use for their woven garments. Now you can affordably experience the feel of natural Suri fiber yourself! Alpaca fiber is hypoallergenic, naturally moisture resistant, and next to skin soft- perfect for creating luxury knitted and woven garments.
This blend has beautiful dark brown base streaked with lighter browns throughout and lighter white speckled within. It has a lovely "tweedy" look when it is spun. You can't beat the low budget pricing as well!
