Needle gauge holes are useful for measuring the size and thickness of your hooks or needles, the 1 inch x 1 inch cutout measures your stitches per inch on a project, the indentations cut out on the top and the bottom, as well as the dark engraved lines are used to measure your yarn thickness, which is especially useful when you are handspinning your own yarns! Easily reference the engraved Wraps Per Inch description to determine the thickness of your yarn. Designs are engraved in Baltic Birch Ply wood. Sanded smooth and polished finish.
Tool has a 4 inch ruler on one side, 1 inch by 1 inch cutout in center, 2 inch indent cutouts on top and bottom. Needle Gauge holes measure in US sizes and in millimeters, US size 0-15, 2mm-10mm.

Care: Polish regularly with our Silken Spindle Eco Friendly Wood Polish, or any other high quality wood polish or sealant for long lasting quality. Handle with care and avoid getting wet.
